ABOUT Bajra Laddu RECIPE

These laddus are made especially in Shravan month for "Nag panchami" when people do pooja of Snakes. Bajra is very good in winter and ghee, Almonds, saunth ( dry ginger ) helps to fight cold.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bajra flour 1 cup.
  2. Jaggery 1/2 cup ( grated )
  3. Ghee 3 tbsp
  4. Almonds blanched and chopped ( 2 tbsp )
  5. Roasted sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  6. Dried ginger powder / Tea masala (I used tea masala) 1 tsp
  7. Cardamom powder 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Dry roast Bajra flour in a pan. ( you can add 1tsp of ghee to make the process easy)
  2. As you smell the aroma of the flour, put the gas off and let it cool.
  3. Add jaggery and mix well. Add Almonds, tea masala, sesame seeds.
  4. Add melted ghee and mix well. Make laddus .
  5. This will make 12 laddus.
