Coriander Lemon pulao is an easy pulao recipe, serves as a lunch box and quick dinner recipe too.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup basmati rice
  2. 1 bunch fresh coriander
  3. 1 onion finely chopped
  4. 6-7 garlic cloves
  5. 1/4 inch ginger piece
  6. 4-5 green chilli
  7. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  8. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1 tbsp butter
  10. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the basmati rice and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes boil 3 cups of water in a big vessel, when it start boiling add rice and cook till it becomes soft.
  3. When the rice cooked properly ,strain the rice in a straner.
  4. Wash the coriander leaves properly, chopp it and put it in grinder ,then add garlic, chilli, ginger, and 2 tbsp spoon of water to it. Now make a fine paste and keep it aside.
  5. Now heat the wok,put butter and cumin seeds, when it start cracklin put onion and fry it till it become traparent.
  6. Now add grinded coriander masala and fry it for sometime. When it starts leaving oil add the cooked rice and mix well. Cook it for sometime with lid the coverd
  7. Now add lemon juice and mix it properly.
  8. Your pulao is ready, serve it hot with curd or Rayta.
