ABOUT Cabbage rolls RECIPE

Tasty creamy cabbage rolls crisp from outside and creamy inside. Make it for birthdays, parties or kitty parties or kids lunch box. A lovely appetizer, starter or just have it with your evening tea

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Shredded cabbage - 3 cups
  2. Capsicum - 1/2 chopped fine
  3. Potatoe - 1 medium
  4. Ginger - 1 tsp grated
  5. APF - 3 tbsp
  6. Pepper powder- 1tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Cornflour - 1 cup ( to coat)
  9. Oil for Deep frying

Instructions

  1. Blanch the shredded cabbage not more then 5 minutes and strain it
  2. Boil the potatoe, grate and keep aside
  3. Take a vessel and add the cabbage to it
  4. Add grated ginger, grated potatoe, APF, pepper powder and salt to taste
  5. Now mix well and bind to form a dough. Do not add any water as there is sufficient moisture in the blanched cabbage
  6. Pinch small balls and roll on a plate of cornflour and keep aside
  7. Make all rolls and keep aside
  8. As the oil heats up, take the prepared cabbage cigar, roll once again in the cornflour and start frying in small batches
  9. Ready to serve Crispy cabbage rolls with sauce and green chutney
