ABOUT Urad dal dahi bada RECIPE

Dahi bada is prepared in north in every festival .i made it with some masala .so it become very tasty ,yummy. i have added asofoetida and cumin while grinding so it become more healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2cup white urad dal soaked for 5 hours
  2. 1 teaspoon asofoetida
  3. 5 greenchillies
  4. 1teaspoon cumin
  5. 1inch ginger chopped
  6. 2cups sweetend curd
  7. 1teaspoon chilli powder
  8. 1teaspoon chat masala
  9. 1 teaspoon black salt
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  12. 1cup sweet temerind chutney
  13. oil to fry
  14. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Grind urad dal along with asofoetida ,cumin ,green chillies ,and ginger without water or with 2teaspoon water.
  2. Now heat oil in a wok .
  3. Slightly wet your hands and take a dollop of dal batter on palm and flatten it and make a hole in center with index finger .
  4. Now put the bada in oil and fry on medium heat.
  5. Make all bada like this and fry them all in small batches of 5 to 6
  6. Fry them till golden pink colour .
  7. Now put all bada in Luke warm salty water for 10 minutes.
  8. Squeeze it and take it out for serving
  9. Serve bada with chilled sweet curd .
  10. Garnish with sweet chutney chat masala red chilli powder black salt etc .
  11. Serve chilled for better taste.
