ABOUT Masala Tea Cake RECIPE

This cake is wonderful fusion of Indian spices in a Cake. This cake has lots of Strong flavours like cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, mace etc. So you can imagine how flavourful this cake is. My home was filled with a wonderful aroma when this cake was baking.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. All Purpose Flour / Maida 1-1/4 cup
  2. White Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Eggs (Room Temp.) 2
  4. Butter (Room Temp.) 6 tablespoon
  5. Milk 3/4 cup
  6. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Salt 2 pinch
  9. Vanilla Essence 1 teaspoon
  10. *For Filling And Topping*
  11. Chopped Walnuts 1/3 cup
  12. Tea Masala 2 teaspoon
  13. Brown Sugar 3 tablespoon
  14. Maida / All Purpose Flour 2 tablespoon
  15. Butter 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Grease a cake loaf tin with butter and Sprinkle flour and keep aside.
  2. Add baking Powder, Baking Soda and salt in Flour and Sieve 3 times. Keep Aside.
  3. Now in a bowl add all ingredients of Filling and Mix well. Keep aside.
  4. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree centigrade
  5. Take butter and sugar in a big bowl and whisk till light and fluffy.
  6. Now add eggs (One at a time) and whisk well.
  7. Add Vanilla Essence and mix.
  8. Now add Flour mixture and Milk in egg mixture and whisk well.
  9. Your cake better is ready.
  10. Now pour half cake better un Greased Cake Tin and tap well to avoid air lumps.
  11. Now add half of the topping on it.
  12. Pour rest of the better on Filling add tap well.
  13. Sprinkle rest of the topping mixture on it.
  14. Bake it for 30-35 minutes on 180 degree centigrade in preheated oven.
  15. After 35 minutes check with a toothpick. If comes out clean your cake is ready.
  16. Cool it down Completely and Serve with Tea or coffee.
