Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Oats -1/2 cup + 1 tbsp [ I used old fashioned oats]
  2. All Purpise flour/ Wheat flour - 1 cup
  3. Ripen banana -2
  4. Brown sugar - 0.5 cup
  5. Baking powder- 1.5 teaspoon
  6. Baking Soda- 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon
  8. Milk - 1/2 cup
  9. Vanilla essence - 1.5 teaspoon
  10. Ground Cinnamon powder- a pinch ( optional)
  11. Nutmeg powder- a pinch ( optional)
  12. Broken Walnuts - 1 tablespoon( optional)
  13. Chocolate chips- for topping ( optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 375°F for 10 min.
  2. In a bowl, Sift All purpose flour/ Wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda,cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder through sifter and mix pretty well. Then add oats and walnuts.Mix well. Dry flour mixture is ready.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mash the banana into smooth paste (some little chunks may be there) using fork or ladle.
  4. Then add vegetable oil, milk, vanilla essence and give it quick mix. Add sugar and mix well.
  5. Wet mixture for Oats Banana Muffins are ready
  6. Now add flour mixture to this little by little and mix it well. Batter for oats banana muffin is ready.
  7. Lined the muffin tray with baking cups and fill the batter in it using ice cream scoop.
  8. Topped with chocolate chips (optional).
  9. . Bake it at 375°F(195°C) for 20 min or until it is done.
  10. Tasty and yummy Eggless Oats Banana Muffins are ready!! Enjoy them with hot cup of milk.
