ABOUT Apple pie... RECIPE

Apple, walnuts and almonds pie. Full of nutritious and delicious. Can be make any time .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For pie filling
  2. Grated apple - 2 cups
  3. Powder sugar - 1/4 cup
  4. Chopped roasted walnuts- 1/4 cup
  5. Chopped roasted almonds - 1/4 cup
  6. Cinnamon powder- 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  8. Outer crust
  9. Maida - 1 + 1/4 cup
  10. Cold butter - 1/2 cup
  11. Ice cold water - 3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients of filling.
  2. Cut the butter into small cubes and mix it with the Maida with tips of the fingers
  3. Then add the ice cold water into the mix5 and form a dough . Do not extra knead.
  4. Chill the dough and roll it using little maida
  5. Line the medium size pie moulds with the rolled dough.
  6. Cut the extra ends and fill the apple filling inside.
  7. Roll the extra dough and cover the pie.
  8. Brush milk or egg wash on it.
  9. Bake them at 180 degree Celsius in a preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
