#Cakes and Bakes Bananas are easily available and all year round fruit. Quick, easy one bowl cake recipe made with wheat flour and all purpose flour/maida and bananas. Light, soft and moist banana cake without egg and any special ingredients ready to eat in an hour.

Take 2 big sized ripen bananas. Peel and chop them, add them to a pan and mash them finely using your hands/blender or do the smooth paste in mixie jar.
Now keep ready all the ingredients.
Sieve wheat flour, maida,sugar,baking powder, cardamom powder,cashew badam powder and salt directly to the pan. Mix well with mashed bananas.
Add water and oil, mix very well so that the oil mixes well.
Add dry fruits. Just mix it slowly and gently until everything is mixed. Do the smooth batter as shown in below picture.
Pour the batter in a thick bottom bowl and cover it, keep aside for 5-7 minutes.
Meanwhile take a cooker add sufficient amount of water (me used half ltr). Start by heating up it in a low flame, add in the 2 tea spoon of salt and 1/4th lemon sized tamarind. Let it be boil without lid.
It takes nearly 5 minutes to boil. Now take the batter bowl and place it without covering the bowl, inside the cooker .
Now close the cooker lid without whistle. Let it be bake 45-50 minutes on low flame.
Bake till 45 minutes in low flame and check it with a tooth pick, if it comes out clean switch off the flame. If not bake still 5 minutes.
Now take it and put on a plate to do the slices.
When warm or cooled, slice and serve with hot drinks like coffee or tea.
