ABOUT Makai Aaloo Missi RECIPE

Makai flour with a mashed boiled potato ,spiced with carrom seeds,green chilli and flavoured with corriader leaves giving Missi roti look Tastes wow Try & Enjoy with Chilli pickles curds and or butter .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 small bowl makai atta
  2. 1 big potato boiled mashed,cooled
  3. 1 green chilli chopped fine
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1/2 tspn carrom seeds
  6. 1 tspn red chilli powder
  7. 1/2tspn haldi
  8. Corriander chppped
  9. Oil to shallow fry

Instructions

  1. Arrange ingredients ready to use
  2. Mash boil potato
  3. Add carton seeds and chopped green chilli
  4. Add all seasoning now with corriander chopped
  5. Add Makai ka atta now and mix well to a crumble
  6. Start making into dough massaging with greased hands
  7. Make two portions keep in fridge 5Minutes
  8. Now make medium portion balls and using makai atta powder in a plate flatten into roti
  9. Heat a tawa well and slowly place this roti on hot tawa and roast
  10. Sides may be uneven or break fix a little with wet hands and turn
  11. Then start adding little oil on sides and fry golden
  12. Turn sides
  13. Do all dough similarly into these soft parathas
  14. Serve these at brunch or lunch or snack with curds ,chilli pickles or even as is
