ABOUT Aaloo Papad RECIPE

These aaloo papads can be eaten during fasts.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 kg - Aaloo
  2. Rock salt to taste
  3. Yellow chilli powder - 2 tsp
  4. Cumin seed - 1 tsp
  5. Oil for making papad

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes then peel and grate them. Mix all the spices.
  2. Make a dough from it and form small balls.
  3. Take two plastic pieces and apply oil on them. This is for drying the papads.
  4. If u have puri machine then make small puries from the potato dough in it or else roll them with the help of a rolling pin to make small puris.
  5. Now place the papads on a big plastic sheets and let them dry in sunlight.
  6. Once they are completely dry store in an airtight container.
  7. To serve either fry in ghee/oil or toast in microwave.
