ABOUT Farali Dhokla RECIPE

Dhokla is very famous snacks done with many variations in all over India. I made it with amarnath flour,samak rice flour and water cashewnuts flour with our regular basic spices of our kitchen for fast. You can serve it in vrat as a starter or snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Amarnath flour 2cup
  2. Samak rice flour 1 cup
  3. Water cashewnuts flour 1/2 cup
  4. Sour curd 1 cup full
  5. Water as required
  6. Sea salt as account of your taste
  7. Sugar 1 tbsp
  8. Crushed ginger and chilli paste 2 tbsp
  9. Eno 1 packet
  10. Oil 2 tbsp
  11. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp (for sprinkle)
  12. For tadka :-
  13. Oil 2 tbs
  14. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  15. Sesame seeds 1 tsp
  16. Chopped green chilli 3-4
  17. Fresh grated coconut 2 tbsp
  18. Fresh coriander leaves 1 tbs

Instructions

  1. You need to keep all flour ready like amarnath flour, samak rice flour, water cashewnuts flour.
  2. Take all flour in plate.
  3. Keep ready curd.
  4. Take a bowl add all flour and curd.
  5. Mix it with without any lumps.
  6. Add some water and make a batter like idli.
  7. Now add crushed ginger chilli , sea salt and sugar then mix it.
  8. Leave it for 10 minutes.
  9. Now add eno and oil then give quick mix again.
  10. Keep ready steamer cooker for dhokla.
  11. Keep greased plate in steamer cooker.
  12. Now pour the mixture in greased plate.
  13. Sprinkle some red chilli powder on the top of batter.
  14. Now lid it and cook for 20 - 25 minutes.
  15. Now check the dhokla with help of knife.
  16. If it done leave for 5 to 7 minutes.
  17. Give cut to dhokla as your choice.
  18. For tadka take a kadai add oil for simmer.
  19. Add cumin seeds for temper.
  20. Then add green chillies and sesame seeds.
  21. Pour the mixture on dhokla plate and spread evenly on dhokla.
  22. Sprinkle soem chopped coriander leaves.
  23. Sprinkle grated fresh coconut
  24. Now your delicious farali dhokla is ready to serve. Serve it with masala dahi and fried chillies.
