I was searching for a chhole recipe and saw the chhole tikkis. I tried this pakodas and they are really tasty. Crisp outside and soft inside. Great tea time snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chhole 200 gms
  2. One finely chopped onion
  3. Fine chopped green chili
  4. Salt
  5. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Hara Dhaniya few
  7. Small potato
  8. Hand full of roasted groundnut
  9. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  10. Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Soak the chhole for attest two hrs.
  2. Remove from water and grind to a coarse paste. Do not add water. If the paste is too dry just add few spoon water so that the batter doesn't turn runny.
  3. Chop the potatoe in to small cubes.
  4. Break the nuts into halves.
  5. Add all ingredients to the batter and mix well with light hand.
  6. Heat oil in deep bottom pan.
  7. Add small dumplings of batter and deep fry till golden brown In color.
  8. Remove onto a absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
  9. Serve with chutney of ur choice.
