This hot pumpkin Manchurian  can be seved for dinner with Bread or Rice..

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 hotdog bun
  2. 2 cup grated white pumpkin
  3. 1 grated carrot
  4. 1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger
  5. 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
  6. 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
  7. 1 1/2 tsp cornflour
  8. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  9. 3 tsp maida
  10. Oil for frying
  11. For semi liquid gravy:-
  12. 1 tsp oil
  13. 1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
  14. 1/4 cup chopped capsicums
  15. salt as per taste
  16. 2 1/2 tsp soya sauce
  17. 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  18. 1 1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
  19. 1/4 cup water mixed with 1 tbsp cornflour
  20. 1/2 tsp ginger
  21. 1/2 tsp garlic
  22. Handful chopped green spring onion

Instructions

  1. Firstly transfer the grated pumpkin into a kitchen towel and squeeze it as much liquid as you possible can.
  2. Place the pumpkin into mixing bowl and add grated carrot,salt,black pepper powder, and mix with hand. Don't add Water.
  3. Now add cornflour and maids again mix well with hand.
  4. Keep on pressing and mixing with hand.
  5. Now add ginger, garlic, chilli, and mix the mixture well without adding water.
  6. Now make tennis size ball from the mixture.
  7. Heat oil for deep frying on medium flame. Fry all Manchurian balls.
  8. Add few at a time and turn them frequently. So that they cook evenly.
  9. Now once they are golden brown take them out on a tissue paper.
  10. To make semi liquid gravy :- take a pan add 1 tsp oil add onion, capsicum ginger and garlic. Stir it well.
  11. Add some chopped spring onion mix well.
  12. Add all sauces... And mix well.
  13. Cook it on high flame. Now add cornflour water into the gravy . (if u like more gravy then add more cornflour water)
  14. Once u have stirred the gravy well add Manchurian ball into the gravy.
  15. Coat the Manchurian ball with gravy and sprinkle some spring onion. Manchurian is ready.
  16. Now cut the hot dog bun from the center without separating the ends.
  17. Now place the 2 or 3 tbsp ready Manchurian in the centre of the hotdog along with little gravy and press it tightly.
  18. Your pumpkin Manchurian hotdog is ready... Serv with tomato ketchup or mustard sauce.. Enjoy..!!
