Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Crumbled Marie cooking biscuits 140g
  2. Butter 2tbs
  3. Honey 3tbs
  4. Egg white 3
  5. Cream cheese 220g
  6. Sugar 100g
  7. Vanilla extract 1tsp
  8. Salt a pinch
  9. Drained yogurt 200ml
  10. Marzipan for honey bee :
  11. Almonds meal flour 250g
  12. Powdered Sugar 200g
  13. Suger syrup 1/4cup
  14. Almond/ Vanilla extract 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190C.
  2. Melt the butter. Combine the cookie crumbs, butter and honey in a bowl. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 22cm, 8cm deep spring form pan. Place in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  3. In the bowl of an electric mixer, whisk together the egg whites. Add piece of cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and salt. Mix to combine for about 5 min. till the cheese has been broken and mass looks smooth. Mix in the yogurt.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 35-45 min., or until set. The filling will still look soft in the middle. Remove from oven and let the cheesecake stand at room temperature for one hour before topping chill for a few hours in the refrigerator until completely set. then decorate the bees.
  5. Marzipan for honey bee :
  6. Place the ground almonds mixture and balance of the powder sugar in a bowl. Add 4 tbsp of sugar syrup, and the essence; combine the mixture. Ready to make honey bee.
  7. Warm up the marzipan by working it in your hands (this will stop it cracking). Now roll out bee bodies Use a toothpick to make little eyes. Use a knife to cut slits for the almond flake wings. Place 2 in each slot.
  8. Melt chocolate now paint on the chocolate bee strips. For the bee look
