ABOUT Leftover pongal cutlets RECIPE

Pongal is healthy south indian breakfast , its leftover pongal's cutlets roasted in less oil with some twist.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 bowl leftover pongal {for receipe lease check receipe in key notes)
  2. Roasted suji 1/2 cup
  3. Green chillies finely chopped 1 tbspn
  4. Chat masala 2tbspn
  5. Oil 1/2 cup
  6. green chutney
  7. Tomato Sauce
  8. Tooty frooty
  9. Crumbled fresh paneer
  10. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Take leftover pongal in a bowl , mash it finely with spatula adding chat masala , chopped green chillies , salt
  2. Make cutlets and roll it on roasted suji . use oil in palms for perfect shape . Heat a nonstick tawa , slightly put every cutlet on it adding oil with spoon
  3. Pour oil on all sides of cutlets with spoon
  4. On medium flame roast the cutlets and flip with spatula one side roast then other
  5. Check both sides are cooked , because pongal is already cooked and suji is also roasted already . So take care it doesn't stick to tawa otherwise it will burnt
  6. Cooked now time to plate
  7. Plate it with coriander chilli chutney(green chutney ), tomato sauce (I used hot n sweet chilli tomato sauce)
  8. Garnish with some tooty frooti n crumbled paneer ,coriander leaves or shredded coconut also be used (I didn't) Serve hot with any type of chutney or sauce , but it goes well with fresh green chutney
