It is tasty Mangalore food . Difficult to do only the few can make this , but all the people like it's taste. Most of the people do not know use of these seeds.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Jack fruit seeds 25 to 30
  2. Jaggery 100 grams(1bowl)
  3. Salt 1/4 table spoon.
  4. Cardamom 5 to 6
  5. For dough...maida 250 gm
  6. Oil 5 to 6 spoon
  7. Water

Instructions

  1. Take seeds.Clean it and remove the peel.
  2. Wash it and put in pressure cooker for boiling.
  3. Drain water.
  4. Take Jaggery, Cardomom, Salt, boiled seeds. Put in mixie jar and grind nicely without adding water.
  5. Now make balls like the size of cricket ball.
  6. Take maida add little water and do dough leave it minimum 15 minutes. Now take plastic paper and apply oil.
  7. Take the dough. add 4 spoon of oil . cut the dough into small pieces.
  8. Now use the dough and fill that seeds filling into it.
  9. Close properly . now take rolling pin and dust maida to roll.
  10. Now roll it like chapathi in oval shape .
  11. Put on heated tava. Roast both the side .Don't put oil.
  12. Now it is ready
  13. Serve it hot with ghee.
