Ingredients Serving: 4
Chicken - 400-500 gms (I used mixed of drumsticks and chicken pieces)
lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Egg - 1
Fresh cream - 3-4 tbsp
Thick /Hung curd - 3 tbsp
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Green chilly - 2 finely chopped or as per your taste
Kasuri methi - ½ tsp
Coriander leaves few chopped coriander
Salt to taste
Butter - 2 tbsp
Instructions
Wash the chicken and pad them dry. Make slashes in the drumsticks. In a mixing bowl add the chicken, lemon juice, salt to taste, mix well and marinate for atleast 30 mins.
In a mixing bowl break the egg and whisk nicely. Add the fresh cream, curd, cornflour, pepper, ginger garlic, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt to taste and half of kasuri methi (rub between your palm and add). Mix them and incorporate them very well.
Add the chicken to the mixture, mix well and marinate them for atleast 2 hours. The more the better.
In a pan add half the butter and let it melt. Layer the marinated chicken and let it cook on low-medium heat flipping over the chicken occasionally. Pour the left over marinade in between the cooking. Cook till the chicken is completely cooked.
Add the remaining kasuri methi and butter, cook for couple of mins and take off.
Garnish with fresh cream and serve.
