Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basamati rice 1 cup
  2. Ghee 2 Tbsp
  3. Jeera 1 tsp
  4. Green cardamon 3
  5. Cinnamon Stick 1
  6. Cloves 4
  7. Bay leaf
  8. Fennal powder 1 tsp
  9. Suth powder ( dry ginger powder} 1 tsp
  10. salt as per taste
  11. Water 2 cup

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice half hour before making rice
  2. Take pan which is having lid, we will make it in pan and not in pressure cooker
  3. Put 2 tbsp ghee
  4. Now add jeera, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf and saute for 30 second, when aroma starts coming, add fennel powder and sauth [ginger] powder
  5. Now add soaked rice and water
  6. Add salt and stir gently
  7. Now cover the pan for 15 minute in medium flame
  8. After 15 minute put the flame off put the pan remain close for 15 minute
  9. Serve this with any gravy or dal makkani...
