This is a recipe of stuffed rice mango dumplings in delicious mango kheer.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. govindovog/any aromatic rice (washed,soaked and dried)
  2. sachh muchh aam ice cream 3
  3. washed and soaked with little orange food colour basmati rice 3 tblspn
  4. sugar 3 tblspn
  5. Cardamom 2
  6. Milk 1/2 ltr
  7. amul cream 3 tblspn
  8. ghee 1 tspn
  9. milk maid 3 tblspn
  10. khowa 3 tblspn
  11. pistachios & almonds chopped 3 tblspn
  12. aam papad 100 gms

Instructions

  1. boil the milk till reduced to half of it's quantity
  2. Grind the cardamom & sugar together.
  3. Add the above mixture to milk and stir till the sugar is completely dissolved in the milk.
  4. add khowa and milk maid, mix well till to get desired consistency
  5. now take 2 sachh muchh amm ice cream, let it melt
  6. cool down the kheer , a bit.
  7. add the melted ice cream into it.
  8. mix well
  9. cool down completely
  10. Keep the mixture in the freezer for sometime.
  11. to make dumplings-
  12. make powder from govindovog rice using grinder
  13. keep in a bowl
  14. add one sachh muchh ice cream and cream
  15. knead it well
  16. make balls from this
  17. like this
  18. grease your palms with ghee
  19. take the balls, stuffed with chopped nuts and aam papad,then again make the balls
  20. roll the balls on soaked basmati
  21. steamed these balls in steamer for 12 min
  22. The dumplings look like these.
  23. now keep the balls in bowls and pour mango kheer over it
  24. topped with pistachios and aam papad
