Wholesome breakfast or snack recipe which can be given to kids, made with a batter of whole moong it tastes way more tastier for a kid to resist.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup soaked whole moong
  2. 1 medium sized chopped onion
  3. 6-7 cloves garlic
  4. 1 green chilli
  5. 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 2 tsp Cumin Coriander powder
  8. 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  9. salt as per taste
  10. A pinch of asafoetida
  11. Oil for making pancakes
  12. Water to make the batter smooth

Instructions

  1. Soak whole green moong overnight
  2. Grind the soaked moong,onion,garlic,coriander leaves and green chilli to make a smooth paste. Add water as required.
  3. Mix all the dry spices and salt.
  4. Take a pan and brush oil on it.
  5. With the help of a laddle, spread the batter and cook well.
  6. Serve hot with desired chutney to the kids.
