Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice 1cup
  2. Curd 1 1/2-2 cups
  3. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  4. 8-10 Curry Leaves
  5. A pinch of Asofedita
  6. 2 whole red chillies
  7. 1 tsp urad dal(white)
  8. 1 tsp channa dal
  9. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  10. salt as per taste
  11. pomegranate seeds for garnishing
  12. 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the rice properly n soak for half an hour.
  2. Cook the rice with water till soft.
  3. Drain the remaining water n mash the rice properly with a spoon.
  4. Add curd to the rice n mix properly.
  5. Add salt n giv a gud mix.
  6. In a wok take 1 tablespoon oil. Add mustard seeds n let it splitter. Add asofedita.
  7. Add the whole red chillies n curry leaves.
  8. Now add 1 tsp chana dal n urad dal.
  9. Add the tempering to the curd rice.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves n pomegranate seeds.
  11. Serve immediately.
