ABOUT Creamy and Hot Brinjal Lasagna ( tricolour) RECIPE

It is milk based recipe. Pasta has been replaced with crispy and spicy brinjal slices. There are three layers of carrot, paneer & spinach infused with bechamel (white) sauce. This recipe is one of the best innovative recipe of mine

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 1 cup
  2. Maida 3 tablespoontablespoon
  3. Salted butter 2 1/2 tablespoon+ 1 tablespoon
  4. Grated proceesed cheese or mix cheese 1 cup
  5. Italian seasoning 1 tablespoon
  6. Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Chilli flakes 1 tablespoon
  8. Red chilli powder 2 tablespoon
  9. Ginger Garlic paste 2 tablespoon
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Cornflour 2 tbsp
  12. Grated Carrot 1 cup
  13. Grated paneer 1 cup
  14. Chopped spinach 200 gram
  15. Crushed garlic 1 tablespoon
  16. Brinjal thin slices 250 grams
  17. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  18. Grated mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. To make Bechamel sauce or white sauce - heat a nonstick pan, add maida and 2 1/2 tablespoon butter, saute for few minutes then add 1 cup milk.. Whisk continuously.
  2. Lastly add grated processed or mix cheese, black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Keep aside
  3. Heat another pan, add 1 tablespoon butter and crushed garlic, saute for a minute then add spinach. Saute 4-5 minutes at high flame then switch off and keep aside.
  4. Take brinjal thin slices and add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, cornflour, mix properly.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in nonstick tawa, spread spicy brinjal slices, cook till slices are crispy golden.
  6. Divide Bechamel (white) sauce in three bowls, mix grated carrot in first bowl, mix grated paneer in second bowl, mix spinach in third bowl ( now tricolour mixture is ready for assemble.
  7. Put spicy B=brinjal layer in baking mold, now spread first carrot sauce (orange) layer, again spread spicy brinjal slices then spread paneer white layer... Again spread spicy brinjal layer then spread spinach sauce (green) layer. Lastly spread spicy brinjal slices and grated mozzarella cheese, chilli flasks, Italian seasoning.
  8. Bake 20 minutes at 180 degree in preheated oven then rest for 10 minutes.
  9. Creamy and Hot spicy tricolour brinjal lasagna is ready for serve.
