ABOUT Dosa Italiano RECIPE

A healthy and interesting replacement to children's favorite pizza.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. For dosa:-
  2. Readymade dosa batter or can use homemade batter too.
  3. Other Ingredients:-
  4. Pizza sauce 1 tablespoon
  5. Capsicum 1/2 diced
  6. White onion 1 sliced
  7. Pitted black olives ( canned) 8-10 nos sliced
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Grated mozrella cheese as per choice
  10. Oregano powder 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Keep all the vegetables ready beforehand.
  2. Heat a non stick dosa pan on medium flame and spread a ladle full of batter over it giving it a round shape as done in normal dosas. After pouring the batter lower down the flame.
  3. Now drizzle little oil over the dosa and wait for about 4-5 seconds
  4. Now spread pizza sauce over the dosa. Also spread all vegetables.
  5. Now spread grated cheese over the dosa and also sprinkle oregano and salt over it. Be careful while adding salt as olives and cheese already have salt in them.
  6. Let this cook for sometime with or without covering until the cheese melts. I personally avoid covering as it makes the dosa crust soggy.
  7. Voila! Here is the healthy version of pizza i.e. dosa italiano ready. Serve it direct from pan with ketchup or any other sauce of your liking.
