ABOUT Badami Shahi Tukde (With Rabdi) RECIPE

This is a rich royal Mughlai dessert prepared in a traditional way. This is a easy and quick version of shahi tukda it will give you a feeling of royalty. Rich in taste, crispiness, aroma, flavor and of course I made healthy too with less calories.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread (I used wheat bread) - 4 pieces
  2. Milk 500 millilitre
  3. Badam 8 pieces
  4. Kaju 5 pieces
  5. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Ghee 2 tablespoons
  7. Saffron 1 tablespoons
  8. Sugar according to taste ( but i used sugar free for diabetic people)

Instructions

  1. Boil milk in a thick bottomed pan on a medium flame.
  2. When milk starts to boil reduce flame to low, stir at regular intervals of 3-4 minutes but not continuously.
  3. Grind Badam and Kaju.
  4. Add cardamom powder, grounded Kaju Badam and mix well. Atlast add sugar or sugar free powder and switch off the flame.
  5. Let it return to room temperature naturally and refrigerate it.
  6. Cut the bread into 4slices /each bread.
  7. Brush the ghee on each sides of bread and microwave it for 5 minutes maximum.
  8. Bread turns into crispy one.
  9. Them polish with rabdi or dip into the rabdi.
  10. Garnish with saffron and sliced dry fruits and enjoy the instant dessert.
