Ingredients Serving: 4
A.For onion kofta
1 big onion chopped
100 gm fresh paneer
1 boil potato
2 tbsp corn flour
Oil for frying
B. for gravy
1 onion sliced
4 big tomato roughly chopped
1 inch ginger chopped
1 green chilli chopped
12 pieces cashew nut
1/2 cup fresh cream
4 spoon curd
1/2 glass milk
1 bey leaf
2 cardamom
1/2 tspn Kashmiri mirch powder
1/2 tspn black salt
1/2 tspn Turmeric
1/2 tspn red chili powder
1 1/2 tspn dry coriander powder
1/2 tspn Garam Masala
1/2 tspn Sugar
1 tspn salt ( or according to taste)
1 tspn kesoori methi
1 tbspn oil
Greated panner for garnishing
Instructions
First we make gravy.
Take a pan add 2 spoon oil in it add sliced onion & chopped green chilii.
Fry it till it becomes golden in color.
Now add chopped tomatoes and ginger.
Add cashew nuts.
Let it simmer for 5 min .
Once the tomatoes and onions get cooked and mushy, let them cool down.
Now pour it in a blender and make a smooth paste.
Now heat 1 tbspn oil in a wolk on medium heat.
Once hot add bay leaf and cardamom fry for 20 seconds.
Now add prepared puree in it.
Cook for 2 min then add red chilli powder , black salt ,Kashmiri mirch powder, turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder and salt .
Mix it well and cook for 2 min on medium flame.
Now add curd & mix it well.
Add fresh cream and 1/2 tspn sugar mix it well and cook for 2 minutes .
Now add milk and simmer on low medium flame for 5 minutes.
Then add crushed kasoori methi .
Mix well turn off the gas stove .Gravy is ready .
Now we will make onion kofta.
Take boiled & mashed potato .
Add grated paneer & corn flour.
Add fine chopped onion .
Mix it well .Knead into a dough.
Now divide the mixture into 12 equal portion.
Make smooth ball of it.
Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat for deep frying.
Once oil is hot add some koftas gently into the hot oil.
Keep moving them so it gets even browning from all the sides.
Once brown all the sides remove it using the slotted spatula.
Now at the time of serving. Reheat the gravy.
When serving to guest remove the gravy in to a serving wolk or bowl .
Then add onion kofta into the bowl, garnish with grated paneer & serve.
Serve with lachcha parantha or butter nan.
