ABOUT Chilly Chicken | Restaurant Style Chilly chicken ( Dry Version ) RECIPE

Mouth watering chilly chicken to go with any rice variety or Indian flat breads. Making this restaurant style chicken is so easy just marinate the chicken in advance fry in oil,prepare sauce add in the fried piece ,saute and serve.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken breast-1\4 kg
  2. To marinate;
  3. Maida/flour-1\4 cup
  4. Corn flour- 2 tbsp
  5. soy sauce-1 tbsp
  6. red chilly powder- 1 tsp
  7. ginger garlic paste-1\2 tsp
  8. Salt- to taste
  9. oil- to fry
  10. For sauce:
  11. Oil- 1 tbsp
  12. onion-1,finely chopped
  13. green chilly- 1 or 2 slited
  14. garlic- 12 to 15,chopped
  15. Capsicum-1
  16. Tomato sauce- 1 tbsp
  17. soy sauce- 2 tsp
  18. green chilly sauce-2 tsp
  19. corn flour- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken well,Cut into medium sized pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl add in all ingredients except oil listed in " to marinate" .Add very little water and make a paste of it.
  3. Add the chicken pieces into it and let it marinate for some time.Heat oil in a pan and fry these pieces.
  4. Heat another pan with oil.Add in chopped onion,green chilly and garlic.Saute it well.Then add in thinly sliced bell pepper/capsicum.
  5. Add in all three sauces and mix well.check for salt and add only if needed.Dunk in the fried chicken pieces and toss it well.
  6. .Mix corn flour in little water and add it in the last stage and mix well .This will give a shiny/glossy appearance to the dish.
  7. Serve hot as a side for any fried rice or Indian flat bread.
