Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 finely chopped carrots
  2. 100 finely chopped beans
  3. 2 finely chopped potatoes
  4. Finely chopped 1/4th
  5. 2 finely chopped onions
  6. 10 burger buns
  7. 4 tsp oregano spices or pizza spices
  8. 3tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 6-7 tbsp butter
  11. 2 tbsp maida
  12. 10 pieces of lettuce
  13. 10 slices of cheese
  14. mayonnaise
  15. 1-2 cups bread crumbs slightly toasted
  16. 1/2cup maida for making batter
  17. 2-3 tbsp oil,needed for cooking the vegetables
  18. 1/2cup oil needed to fry the tikkis

Instructions

  1. Boil all the chopped vegetables except the onion for 10-15 min in high flame
  2. After they are boiled, strain them and keep aside, in a shallow pan, take 2-3 tbsp oil,and fry the chopped onions.
  3. Fry the onions until translucent, add salt, add the boiled vegetables ,stir fry them, add the Kashmiri red chilly powder, the oregano or pizza spices, mix well, stir in high flame for 4-5 min.
  4. Then reduce the flame, cover it and let it cook for another 7-8 min.
  5. Remove cover, lastly add 2-3 tbsp butter, maida and mix well until incorporated.
  6. After they are done just press lightly with the ladle , spread them on a big plate, to cool.
  7. After they get cooled and are perfect to touch, take small amounts and make small balls or tikkis by pressing them with both palms. Use the entire cooked vegetables to make 10 tikkis or Pati.
  8. Next take bread crumbs in one plate, add 1/2 cup maida in one bowl, add water to make a thick but flowing batter.
  9. Heat about 7-8 tbsp oil in a frying pan, take one tikki or pati,dip in the batter, put it inside the bread crumbs and fry, fry both sides until they turn golden brown. Do the same with all the tikkis or pati.
  10. Next in one tawa add 1-2 tbsp batter, cut each burger buns into half, slightly warm them in the tawa with butter, both sides of the two halves.
  11. Now apply mayonnaise on the inner sides of the burger bun ,on the lower half, add one piece of fresh lettuce leaf, add one pati, add one cheese slice on the pati, and finally cover it with the top part of the bun.
  12. Your delicious Mac veggie burger is ready.
