ABOUT Garden of Five Senses RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. I). FOR THE SALAD :
  2. a. Handful of salad leaves:
  3. Roughly torn Chinese Cabbage, Purple cabbage, lettuce, rocket leaves, basil, parsley
  4. b. 5-6 Cherry tomatoes
  5. c. 1 each thinly sliced:
  6. Zucchini rings, raw Mango, carrots
  7. d. 4-5 mushroom sliced
  8. e. 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  9. f. 2 garlic pods chopped
  10. g. 250 gms of chicken breast
  11. h. 1/2 cup crushed Oats
  12. I. Salt, pepper and oregano
  13. j. Chipotle Sauce for coating chicken breast
  14. k. 1 tsp Flaxseed
  15. II). FOR THE DRESSING
  16. BLENDING INGREDIENTS:
  17. a. 1 large Mango cut in cubes
  18. b. 2 medium size Lemon juice
  19. c. 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  20. d. 2 tbsp honey
  21. e. 1 tsp cumin
  22. f. 3 clove garlic
  23. g. 1/2teaspoon salt
  24. MIXING INGREDIENTS OF DRESSING
  25. a. 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  26. b. 2 tbsp deeseded chili pepper (green big chillies)
  27. c. 5 to 6 jalapeño chopped
  28. d. 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander and mint each
  29. e. 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  30. f. 1 sachet dominoes chilli flakes
  31. g. Sprinkle of oregano, parsley, basil dried

Instructions

  1. SALAD BOWL
  2. I have taken Chinese cabbage roughly torn, lettuce leaves, purple cabbage, basil leaves, rocket leaves. Toss them in a big bowl.
  3. Added sliced carrot, zucchini, raw Mango slices or karrie, cherry tomatoes,
  4. Saute sliced Mushrooms in 1-2 drops oil. Once moisture is almost dried, add in balsamic vinegar. Cool and add to the salad bowl.
  5. Take chicken breast, sprinkle slat, pepper. Apply any sauce of your choice. I had used Chipotle. Dust these coated breast in crushed Oats. Airfried, bake or pan fry till they are done and crusty. Slice and add to salad bowl.
  6. Sprinkle flax seeds, parsley.
  7. Keep aside and prepare the Dressing.
  8. For Sweet and Spicy Mango Salad Dressing
  9. Combine mango, lime juice, orange juice, honey, cumin, garlic and salt in a blender container.
  10. Puree Blending ingredients on medium speed until smooth. Transfer to a medium size jar.
  11. Add mixing ingredients to the pureed mix. Add oil to the mixture in the jar in a slow, steady stream while stirring continuously with a fork or small whisk.
  12. Add finely chopped chili pepper, jalapeño, coriander, mint, herbs, flax seeds, chilli flakes and black pepper.
  13. It's ready to drizzle. Add dressing to the salad bowl, when you are ready to eat.
