Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Roasted yellow lentil - 1/2 Cup
  2. Rice - 1/2 Cup
  3. Chopped vegetables of your choice - 1 Cup
  4. Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  5. Bay leaves - 2
  6. Cardamom - 2
  7. Cloves - 3
  8. Black pepper - 3
  9. Cinnamon - 1 inch
  10. Ghee - 2 tablespoon
  11. Salt as per your taste
  12. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat pressure cooker and add ghee.
  2. Add all the spices and fry for 2-3 minutes
  3. Add onion, salt, turmeric powder and saute for 2- 3 minutes.
  4. Wash rice, dal and vegetables and add to the cooker.
  5. Add 4 cups of water, close the lid and cook for 2 whistles.
  6. Serve hot.
