ABOUT Raw Banana Kebeb RECIPE

These crispy and healthy kebabs are made with raw banana and delicately spiced with herbs and spices and finally coated with soy chunks and oats. I opt for baked version to make it much more healthier.However you can go for frying too.(Shallow or deep frying)

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 - Boiled raw bananas
  2. 2 - Boiled potato
  3. 2 - Finely chopped onion
  4. 1tsp - Turmeric powder
  5. 1 tsp - Roasted cumin powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 ¼ tsp - Garam masala powder
  8. 1 tsp - Sugar (optional)
  9. 1 ¼ tsp - Garam masala powder
  10. 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  11. 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  12. Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped )
  13. 4 tbsp - Soya chunks
  14. 4 tbsp - Plain oats (you can use masala oats too)
  15. Refined / Olive Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil and grate the raw bananas and potato.
  2. Add all dry spices (turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder, sugar, garam masala powder, coriander powder, red chill powder) and onion, coriander to the grated banana and potato. Mix all the ingredients properly.
  3. Now, shape the prepared mixture in round or cuttlet shape and coat with soy granules and oats mixture.
  4. Shallow fry / deep fry the kebabs and serve hot with sauce / chutney and salads.
  5. If you want to avoid frying then bake the cutlets for 15 minutes at 180 degree C in a preheated oven.
