ABOUT Oats Coated Chicken Strips RECIPE

Tender chicken strips coated in crushed oats is quick to make snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm - Chicken
  2. 1 tsp - Red chilli powder
  3. 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tsp - Soy sauce
  5. 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Coating 1 : 1/2 Cup - Maida
  8. 1/4 tsp - Garlic powder
  9. 1/4 tsp - Pepper powder
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Coating 2 : 2 - Eggs
  12. 1/2 4tsp - Pepper powder
  13. Salt as required
  14. Coating - 3 : Oats, crushed - 1 Cup
  15. Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. To the chicken add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, soy sauce, lemon juice and salt.
  2. Beat the egg with salt and pepper and keep it ready.
  3. To the maida, add garlic powder, pepper powder, salt and mix it well.
  4. Crush the oats with hand add salt to it. Don't powder it otherwise it wont give the required texture.
  5. Coat the chicken with maida mix the dip in egg mixture then roll in oats mix then deep fry it till golden. Don't fry too long as oats get darkened. Cook on medium low flame so that the chicken cooks well and outer layer is not browned.
  6. Serve hot with the sauce of your choices.
