ABOUT Aam r Payesh / Mango Payasam RECIPE

A must have summer delicacy made with fresh ripe mangoes.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Gobindobhog rice-- A handful
  2. Mango pulp - From 1 ripe mango
  3. Milk - 1 L
  4. Sugar - 1 cup( depends on sweetness of the mango)
  5. Almond - 10-12 pieces, chopped
  6. Condensed milk - 4 tablespoon
  7. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk in a large pan. Keep stirring till it reduces in quantity.
  2. Add the rice into it and keep stirring. When rice is partially cooked add the sugar. Cool the mixture. Then add the mango pulp and mix well.
  3. Garnish with chopped almonds and serve.
