ABOUT Andhra Garlic Podi RECIPE

I got this recipe from a cooking blog and its the best podi i have tasted so far.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Split black lentil - 1/2 Cup
  2. Garlic pods - 20
  3. Dry red chilli - 8
  4. Asafoetida - 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Salt as per your taste
  6. Oil - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Dry roast black lentil and dry red chilies.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the garlic pods. When the garlic pods cool down put them in a mixer jar along with black lentil, asafoetida, dry red chilies and salt and grind to a powder.
  3. Fill this powder in a clean jar and Serve with ghee rice.
