ABOUT Stovetop Skillet Veggie Pizza RECIPE

This pizza is an absolute time saver with no prep work at all moreover done on stove top in less than 20 minutes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup : Self raising flour
  2. 1/2 cup : All purpose flour
  3. 2/3 cup : Warm water
  4. 1 tbsp : Olive oil
  5. 1 tsp : Honey
  6. 1 tsp : Instant yeast
  7. 1/4 tsp : Salt
  8. 1/2 Cup : Pasta / Pizza sauce
  9. For Toppings : 1 - Sliced Onion
  10. Few - Halved Cherry Tomatoes
  11. Few - Diced Bell Pepper
  12. Few - Sliced Olives
  13. Few - Chopped Baby Corn
  14. Few - Sliced Mushroom
  15. 1 tsp : Mixed Herbs
  16. 1 tsp : Red chilli flakes
  17. 1/2 cup : Shredded cheese of choice
  18. 1 tsp : Olive oil for drizzling on top

Instructions

  1. In a good non stick pan take the self raising flour, all purpose flour, salt, honey, yeast, olive oil and water. Give them a good stir.
  2. Once it all comes together without any lumps, resembling a cake batter spread evenly over the pan. Spread it thick or thin according to preference.
  3. Now add the pizza sauce over the batter and spread evenly. Add the toppings, sprinkle chilli flakes, mixed herbs,drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil and finally top it with shredded cheese. Here I used grated Cheddar and mozzarella.
  4. On medium heat cook it over the stope top closing with a tight lid for 10 minutes later leaving a slight gap cook for another 5 to 8 minutes until cheese turns golden.
  5. Cool it slightly and remove the pizza off the pan. Slice and serve.
