ABOUT Coconut Jamun Laddu RECIPE

Summer is the season you get plenty of jamun / jambhul / Indian berries. I gave a tangy twist to the authentic coconut laddu and it turned out to be delicious. Give it a try.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Jamun Pulp - 1/2 Cup
  2. Sugar - 1 cup
  3. Dry Fruit Powder - 1/2 Cup
  4. Shredded Fresh Coconut - 1 Cup
  5. Cardamom Powder - 1 teaspoon
  6. Ghee - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat ghee and add dry fruit powder and roast. Add jamun pulp and cook it till it thickens.
  2. Add shredded coconut and mix well. Cook for some more time and add sugar. Keep stirring till the mixture leaves the sides and comes together in the center. Make sure there are no lumps.
  3. Take it out on a plate to col and then make round laddus from it. Serve or store in airtight box.
