ABOUT Aam Khatti Meethi Pickle RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Raw mango- grated : 3 cups
  2. Sugar - 6 tbsp
  3. Black salt - 2 tsp
  4. Turmeric - a pinch
  5. Water - 1/2 cup
  6. Lime - 1
  7. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  8. Dry roasted jeera powder - as required

Instructions

  1. Finely grate the raw mangoes. Add black salt, sugar, a pinch of turmeric and set aside for 10 min. Add water and red chilli powder and keep it for another 5 min.
  2. Put this mixture in the microwave safe bowl and microwave it at 900 power for 15 minutes, stirring twice in between.
  3. Cool and add the dry roasted jeera powder and lime juice. The khatti meethi pickle is ready to relish.
