ABOUT Rassedar Aloo ki Sabzi RECIPE

A popular and yummy side dish - spicy aloo gravy. Serve with chapati, poori in lunch or breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Boiled potatoes - 4-5
  2. Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  4. Asfoetida powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  7. Desi Ghee - 1 tablespoon
  8. Dried fenugreek leaves - 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Salt (to taste)
  10. Water - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds. When they crackle add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chilli powder,hing and salt to it. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Cut and add the potatoes and dried fenugreek leaves. Stir. Add water and bring to boil. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes and then turn off the gas.
  3. Serve hot with roti, poori etc.
