ABOUT Dry Ginger & Peanut Podi RECIPE

Winter specialty - very simple n tasty powder from Andhra.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Peanuts - 1/2 cup
  2. Dry ginger powder -1/4 cup
  3. Jaggery to taste
  4. Rock salt to taste
  5. Dry red chilli to taste

Instructions

  1. Dry roast peanuts till aroma begins to float and the color changes to roasted brown. Take the peanuts out in a plate and dry roast red chilli till color changes.
  2. In a mortar pestle grind peanuts with jaggery and red chilli.
  3. When half done, add rock salt and dry ginger powder then grind again into powder.
  4. Store in containers and enjoy with your meals or idli or dosas.
