ABOUT Trikon Nimki RECIPE

Make this healthy trikon namkeen, they are shallow fried and gluten free.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup - Besan or chickpea flour
  2. 1/2 cup - Green gram flour
  3. 2 tsp - Oil
  4. 1/2 tsp -Salt
  5. Water as required
  6. Oil for shallow frying
  7. Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix both the flours add salt, 1 tsp oil, chilli powder and water to make a stiff dough. Cover it with moist cloth for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Make small balls, dust them with remaining flour and roll them to make a circular shape then cut it into triangles.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhayi and shallow fry in small batches till golden brown and crisp.
  4. Drain excess oil on tissue paper and once cool store in air tight container. Serve with tea.
