ABOUT Mango Suji Halwa RECIPE

A lovely combination of ripe sweet mango and suji halwa.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup - Suji
  2. 1 cup - Mango puree
  3. 1-2 cup - Milk
  4. 1 cup - Sugar
  5. 1 tsp - Saffron soaked in water
  6. 5-6 - Almonds, chopped
  7. 4-5 - Cashews, chopped
  8. 2-3 tsp - Desi Ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in pan and add suji, roast till it begins to give out a nice aroma.
  2. Add dry fruits and fry them for a minute, then add sugar. Stir till sugar crystal get dissolved. Then add mango puree and stir well for a minute. Then add milk in and stir it well so that no lumps remain. Add saffron in the end.
  3. Mango suji halwa is ready to serve.
