Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chole (soaked overnight).... 150 gm
  2. Ginger- garlic paste.... 2 tsp
  3. Chopped onion... 1/2 cup
  4. Oil.... 2 tsp
  5. Jeera.... 1 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder... 1 tsp
  7. Everest chole masala..... 2 tsp
  8. Garam masala.... 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder.... 1/2 tsp
  10. Tomato puree.... 1 cup
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Green chilli for garnish
  13. Onion rings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash chole under running water. Put it in pressure cooker. Add 2 cups water and salt. Cook for 4 whistle.
  2. Take a heavy bottom kadai. Add oil, put jeera and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, cook . Now add onion and cook till it turns light brown.
  4. Now add tomato puree. Add red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala and everest Chole masala. Cook till oil comes above the mix.
  5. Now add chole along with water it is cooked in and mix. Adjust salt and cook for 15 minutes on slow flame.
  6. It's ready. Take it out in a good looking bowl. Garnish with green chilli and onion rings.
  7. Serve with bhature.
