ABOUT Greek yogurt and fruit breakfast bowl ! RECIPE

Greek yogurt and fruit breakfast bowls are the perfect start to the day. You can fill it with Greek yogurt, which is high in protein and top it with your favorite healthy carbs like granola,chia and superfoods like dried cranberries, nuts etc and sweeten with sweetener of choice like honey, maple syrup, agave nectar which gives you an energy boost required for the day. As it is summer and we are fully loaded with mangoes ,Today I am presenting pureed mango, vanilla Greek yogurt sweetened with agave nectar and topped with pecans and cranberries, skipped granola here as my kids prefer without it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 large : Mango peeled, pitted and pureed
  2. 1 cup : vanilla Greek yogurt
  3. 2 tbsp : pure agave nectar
  4. 1 tbsp : dried cranberries
  5. Few pecans
  6. Few honey cornflakes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Peel, deseed and puree the mango in a blender.
  2. Mix the agave nectar with vanilla Greek yogurt.
  3. In a glass/ bowl add a scoop of pureed mango followed by vanilla Greek yogurt and so on until it's full.
  4. Here I used full fat vanilla Greek yogurt as I prepared for kids. Low fat can be definitely substituted.
  5. Top the yogurt bowls with dried cranberries, pecans, corn flakes and a drizzle of agave nectar
