ABOUT Roasted Khichdi RECIPE

Children don't like plain khichdi. So to make it yummy we add little spices

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup of boiled khichdi
  2. 1 cup of onions
  3. 1 cup of spring onions
  4. 1 tsp of ginger
  5. 1 tsp of green chillies
  6. 1 tsp of turmeric, red chillies powder
  7. Salt as per the taste
  8. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  9. Little Hing
  10. Jeera as required.

Instructions

  1. In a pan add oil and once heat add hing,jeera ,onions, ginger,green chilles and spring onions
  2. Now add salt,turmeric and red chillies powder
  3. Add the khichdi and stir for some time.
  4. Switch off the flame in 5 minutes
  5. The khichdi is ready to be served. Garnish with coriander leaves
