ABOUT Kachumar Tadka RECIPE

Kachumar is the recipe to be made with vegetable mixed in the curd. Did a variation by adding tadka over it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 Cup Curd
  2. 1 Cup of finely chopped mix vegetable Cucumber, onion, boiled potato, shredded cabbage.
  3. 1tsp Jaljeera Masala
  4. 2tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  5. 1tsp Red Chilly Powder
  6. 1tbsp Dried Mint Leaves Powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. For Tadka
  9. 3-4 Green Chillies cut into slits
  10. 8-10 Curry Leaves
  11. 1tsp Cumin Seeds
  12. 1/2tsp Asafoetida
  13. 1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
  14. 2tbsp Desi Ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat the curd add all the vegetables into it
  2. Add Jal jeera masala, cumin powder salt, mint powder and red chilly powder
  3. In a small pan heat ghee, add asafoetida, turmeric powder, and cumin seeds
  4. Add curry leaves and green chilies and pour the tadka on kachumar.
  5. Sprinkle some red chili powder and serve immediately with khichdi or pulao.
