ABOUT Whole wheat yoghurt muffins RECIPE

Yummy muffins using whole wheat, mixed toppings of your choice and yogurt.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 1 1/4 cup
  2. Room temp thick curd 1 cup
  3. Raw sugar 3/4 cup
  4. Vegetable oil 1/2 cup
  5. Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  6. Baking soda 1 tsp
  7. Baking powder little more than a tsp
  8. Toppings of your choice

Instructions

  1. Measure all ingredients using standard measuring cup and spoon
  2. Preheat your oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes
  3. Mix curd and sugar together
  4. Add in vanilla essence, oil and stir well
  5. Sieve your dry ingredients from a height atleast twice. Mix slowly to your wet ingredients
  6. Keep ready your baking tray. I used paper liners and kept them in a large tray
  7. Scoop batter in moulds and sprinkle some toppings, here I used tutty fruity, candied cherries, blueberry, chopped chocolate pieces
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Check with toothpicks if done. As I used small liners it took exactly 15 minutes.
