These baked samosas are anytime tasty and a healthy version to satisfy your cravings. You can also deep fry them.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the Filling :
  2. Large potatoes - 2
  3. Jeera - 1 tsp
  4. Spices:
  5. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  7. Dhania jeera powder - 1 tsp
  8. Amchoor powder (dry Mango powder) - 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Green chillies chopped - 2(optional)
  11. For the covering :
  12. APF - 1 1/2 cups
  13. Ghee - 2 tbsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Ajwain - 1 tsp
  16. Water as reqiured

Instructions

  1. Add salt and ghee to maida and rub to form a nice crumbly mixture
  2. Now add little water and form a stiff dough
  3. Keep aside
  4. Boil potatoes and mash with fingers
  5. Add oil to a pan and add on the jeera
  6. Then goes the potatoes
  7. Now stir in the spices and salt to taste
  8. Cover and cook for 5 mins
  9. Switch off the gas and let the mixture cool
  10. Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  11. Now pinch small balls of the dough and roll into puris size thicker then chapatis
  12. Cut each into semi circle
  13. Take a semi circle and hold like a Cone in hand.apply water to the edges
  14. Spoon in potato mixture. Seal the sides and place on a greased baking tray
  15. Make all samosas and keep
  16. Now bake them at a reduced temperature of 170 degrees for 11 to 12 mins or till a crispy golden brown colour is noticeable.
  17. Enjoy baked samosas
