ABOUT Sweet n Spicy Maggiballs RECIPE

Maggi -- need no introduction, weekend means a bowl of maggi is necessary in our family..But generally we are habituated to make same way of maggi like veg maggi /egg maggi or chicken maggi.. never think about something else. This time BB team insist us to make something innovative or new with our loving maggi. I have made this yummy, lip-smacking sweet n spicy maggiballs. This sweet n spicy maggi balls could be a great substitute of meatballs .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Maggi -1 packet
  2. Black pepper- 1tsp
  3. Maggi magic masala - 1 packet
  4. Garlic - 15 cloves
  5. Kashmiri Dry chili - 5
  6. Hot dry chili - 4
  7. Cornflour flour- 1 1/2 tbsp
  8. Maida - 1 tbsp
  9. Honey - 1 tbsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Soya sauce- 1tsp
  12. Roasted sesame seeds- 1tsp for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Boiled 1 packet maggi with 1 cup water for 4 mins or till water dried up completely and maggi get soft.
  2. Soak kashmiri dry chili and hot dry red chili for 10 mins then put in a blender along with 10 cloves of garlic and blend till smooth. Keep aside Chili garlic paste.
  3. Wait for enough warm to touch. Then add 1 tbsp Cornflour, 1 tbsp Maida, Black pepper, salt to taste and 1 tsp maggi masala. Mix everything. Sprinkle some water and make a maggi dough.
  4. Now divide maggi dough into 8 equal portion. Make maggi balls.
  5. Meanwhile heat a pan with enough oil for frying
  6. Now fry all maggi balls on medium hot oil till golden colour.
  7. Place all maggi balls on paper towel for absorbing extra oil.
  8. Now add 1 tsp Cornflour in a bowl. Add little water and mix well, Cornflour slurry is ready, keep aside.
  9. Now heat a pan. add 1 tbsp oil throw in 5 chopped garlic and stir it for a minute.
  10. Then add chili garlic paste and salt to taste. Stir it for 1-2 mins then add soya sauce and 1/2 tsp maggi masala and mix well.
  11. Now add Cornflour slurry mix well quickly. Add maggi balls. Coat well with sauce. Now add honey toss everything on high flame.
  12. Check the seasoning, sweet n spicy maggi balls are ready sprinkle sesame seeds before serving
