ABOUT Hide and Seek Maggi Paniyaram RECIPE

I tried this Maggi Paniyaram in my own way and it turned out good. To make it more healthy i added oats. I made Maggi Paniyaram in 2 ways which i will describe in my procedure. Your kids will love this:)

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 Maggi packets (For 2 versions in procedure)
  2. -2 cups sooji(semolina)
  3. -1cup oats
  4. -2 to 3 tbsp rice flour
  5. -1 cup curd
  6. -Finely sliced onions
  7. -Green chillies or chilli powder
  8. - 1tsp Ginger garlic paste
  9. - Curry leaves few
  10. - Salt for taste
  11. -Turmeric
  12. - Cumin seeds
  13. - Chana dal 1 to 2 tbsp
  14. - Cooking oil
  15. - Paniyaram pan

Instructions

  1. Cook the Maggi as per instructions given on the pack with taste maker
  2. Take semolina in vessel and add curd to it and mix. Add little water and soak for 20 minutes.
  3. Blend the oats in blender to powder and add to semolina curd mixture
  4. Add 2 to 3 tbsp rice flour to it.
  5. Add water slowly to it and make consistency like dosa batter. See that their are no lumps
  6. Next step is to do tempering.Take a vessel. Add oil to it. When oil is heated add cumin seeds, chana dal, Ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and turmeric
  7. Add sliced onions, chilli powder, salt and cook for sometime
  8. Now add this prepared tadka mixture to the batter.
  9. Mix everything. You can make paniyarams even with this batter directly.
  10. This is the basic batter what we need to proceed for Maggi paniyarams. Before proceeding take very little batter from this and keep aside. I did 2 versions of Maggi paniyaram using this batter.
  11. First version is hidden Maggi paniyaram where Maggi is hidden inside the prepared dumpling. You get nice maggi masala taste in each and every bite.
  12. For first version add 1 packet of cooked maggi to the basic batter .
  13. Mix the maggi with the batter.
  14. Now take paniyaram pan and add tsp of oil in all holes. Add the maggi batter to it .
  15. Once one side turns brown flip and cook on other side.
  16. In another version we just coat very little batter on cooked maggi. Here we are just coating the maggi with batter.
  17. Add very little batter
  18. Mix it
  19. Add as dumplings to heated paniyaram pan with drop of oil in each hole
  20. Cook on both sides by flipping until they turn brown in color on both sides.
  21. Enjoy hide and seek paniyarams with some chutney.
