ABOUT Hide and Seek Biscuit RECIPE

Inspired by the Hide and Seek biscuits, these cookies I tried were a replica of the original ones.

Ingredients Serving: 5

1 and 1/2 cup Flour
3/4 cup Refined Sugar (Caster Sugar / Icing Sugar )
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1/2 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
Vanilla Essence a tsp is purely optional
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/3 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

At first, beat the egg yolk and sugar until they are fluffy.
Add in vanilla essence, salt and butter and further beat it until they are well puffed up.
In another vessel, bring together the flour and baking powder and salt and give it a generous stir.
Into the Sugar-Butter portion, add in the flour and fold it in the mixture slowly.
Sift the choco chip pieces and make a loose dough. Close and refrigerate it for 30 mins.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Spread the dough and square them. Give an impression with a fork.
Onto the baking tray, grease the butter, then place the cookies square and bake it for exactly 13-15 mins.
