ABOUT Two in one paneer maagi bonda and tikki RECIPE

Aloo bonda is very famous appetizer and prepared very regularly. we can create a new twist by adding grated paneer and cooked maggi to it. Adding grated carrot and all spices with lemon juice increase its taste.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. -3 to 4 boiled and mashed potatoes
  2. -1 grated carrot
  3. -1 maagi packet
  4. -1 small cup grated paneer
  5. -chick pea flour(Besan)
  6. -2 tbsp coriander powder
  7. -1 tbsp redchilli powder or green chillies
  8. -salt for taste
  9. -1tsp ginger garlic paste
  10. - Few mint or coriander leaves(optional)
  11. -lemon juice
  12. -Any cooking oil
  13. EXTRA INGREDIENTS FOR TIKKI: Bread crumbs
  14. -Grated cauliflower

Instructions

  1. - Cook the maagi as per instructions given on pack with taste maker.
  2. -Pressure cook the potatoes.Boil,peel and mash them. Add maagi and grated carrot to mashed potatoes
  3. -Add all spices ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder
  4. -Add coriander powder
  5. -Add grated panner and salt
  6. -Add lime juice and mix everything
  7. -Now I divided the same mix in to 2 proportions one for bonda and other for tikki
  8. -I have taken one portion and made round balls out of it.
  9. -To the other portion I added some grated cauliflower and bread crumbles which I used for tikki preparation
  10. -Just mix bread crumbles mixture to form a dough which we make pattie with
  11. -For bonda take some besan in bowl. Add little red chilli powder,salt and by adding water make in to paste like. Batter should not be very thick or too thin, Dip the prepared round dumplings in batter
  12. -Fry in oil until they turn brown color. Serve hot with ketchup.
  13. -For tikkis just make flat patties with prepared dough
  14. -coat this patties with bread crumbles and shallow fry on pan using very little oil by turning pattie on both sides until they turn brown color.
  15. They will be crisp outside and soft inside. Serve them hot with ketchup:)
